Windows 7, Cheap for Students.

Not everyone browses the net on a Windows based OS but most do.

So how cheap? $29.99. The catch of course is that your college / university has to qualify. Click here if you are interested. Us mere mortals will have to shell out in the range of $99 - $130 for the home edition, but i believe its worth it.



I'm typing this up on the Windows 7 Ultimate beta. I love it, however the extra "permissions" settings are unnecessary and i hope they go away with the home edition.

I'd prefer the Professional edition as it comes with a XP Compatibility Mode, however I've yet to hear of a program that doesn't work on Win7.
